Ridiculous trying to reason with someone

I sold Atrain some 09 Topps Magic Cards. He sends me a PM today saying "all but one are damaged make it right or I can send them back for a refund". So I respond saying "send them back and I will give you a refund if I agree". My reason for that statement was because I have never had any cards get damaged in delivery and I have been scammed so now when I send cards I take pictures before they go out. So when he sends them back I can make sure that the cards werent switched with bad ones (magic is serial #ed). He then Replies telling me that I will send him a refund or he will ruin me on these sites. So I try to keep telling him to send them back and I will correct it, and the whole time Im contacting people trying to get the same cards and am gonna have to pay more for them and he keeps PM me telling me Im a POS and all this other negative crap. Look I have had words with people on here but have always held up my end of the deal, but if he refuses to send them back am I wrong for thinking that he is trying to scam me??

Now he has filed a claim with paypal. But get this I sold the cards to him for $57 and he is asking paypal to give him a $27 refund and he keeps cards. Sorry seems like a scam to me.

Dude Im 30 yrs old, Im just not gonna take sh$# from these want to be cool punks. If they want to police my post fine, but they need to police all of the others also. I'm not going to comment on this specific situation without hearing both sides... but in general, if a person is dissatisfied with the product the receive, they should absolutely have to send the cards back to the original seller before a refund is issued. They are also responsible for their safe delivery back to the seller, just as the seller is responsible for the safe delivery of the cards to the buyer in the first place. I would also never give a partial refund and let the buyer keep the product. Either you're satisfied with the product at the price you agreed to, or you're not. Asking for money back yet being satisfied enough to keep the product is busch league.

Instead you act like im trying to scan you while im showing you the proof.. So everyone can see here is the scan of the 5 cards I purchased from him. Not sure how you could benefit from bringing this to the eye of the public.. Here is the proof the exact 5 cards I purchased and the damage. If he agrees Ill be more then happy to send them back but none of this MIGHT refund you crap!

No one is getting banned. IMO both parties handled this situation terribly. The paypal claim must have been filed impropperly because this is an easy case of the item not being as described. Problem is that atrain should know that paypal will not give him the money back until the item(s) arive safely back with the seller. So I don't see why he mad such a big stink over that part.

Considering he cursed me and called me names when I asked him to send them back and filed a complaint at paypal when all he had to do was send them back. Yes, its his problem. I handled this like i should of. I pm'd him here njo response i found he was on the forum I pm'd him there. It was filed correctly and on the phone with paypal to find out what the issue is.. The money is absolutely not an issue its the principle.

that is the statement that gets me and also seemed to cause the biggest issue with atrian if you agree...that means he would take a chance on sending back the cards and receiving nothing if you were not in agreement...

I ship cards like that everytime and I have never had any complaints of damaged cards. And yes we are in a recession so I couldnt buy tape. I guess postage to return must be to expensive where you are from.

1. five of the same cards not damaged
2. refund
3. the so-called damaged cards back.
Im not here to screw anyone I may disagree with people but I take cards seriously. I would have taken care of him but he flew off the handle so he brought it on hisself

I see where you are coming from and the "if I agree" statement is odd to say the least. I'm not sure why paypal would deny your claim if it was done right. I would say that both parties should just suck it up, fix it, and walk away.

You could of already had damaged and needed mine to replace. Just like you dont think I woulda sent you anything back, I dont think the cards I sent you were the damaged ones. It is always possible to get damaged in shipping but since you wouldnt return them, like I said you brought it on yourself
