Yes. The purple cards have the purple border and have a purplish tint to the background as well. The purple parallels are ONLY found in fat packs according to the package. The gold I pulled as well has gold in the background unlike being just the gold border parallel like last year. The gold cards like the purple cards are more gold foil cards than just parallel borders like last year as well. Hope that helps!
