Dilfer and Berman? What fool at ESPN thought this was a good idea?

I thought the same thing. I don't like either one of them and I'm sick of Berman's 1980 humor.

Probably same guys who thought Dennis Miller would be the perfect compliment to Al Michaels.

Although, I will say Miller would have been a huge upgrade over Dilfer. And probably knows more football as well.

Yea this is a pretty brutal commentary duo.

luckily this is the only double header for monday. so we only have to listen to the mediocrity of chucky and tirico the rest of the season. surprisingly berman is pretty subdued and calling it straight, not using his annoying catchphrases. dilfer however can go eat a d!ck.

Normally commentary does not bother me, but after 2 quarters I turned it off. IMO Dilfer should know better, but he adds stupid crap like "that'll get you a PI" after jammer got called. this is not teenage chat rooms "dilf" and berman commentates more like a fan at his first game which I can tolerate, but his sayings are just old and outdated.

Absolutely horrible, going to bed with a headache. Should send the bill to those two morons who get paid way to much to be terrible at what they do

Ill take these two over Jon "This Guy" Gruden. Just despise Gruden. Completely ruins the game for me.

Did Dilfer just say "square-em up like papa does?" He might be the most condescending commentator out there. Oooh, look at my Super Bowl ring.

I cannot watch ESPN anymore, the sheer amount of douchery thay eminates from Bristol, Connecticut and its appendages is too much. Chris Berman is so played, go away, stop ruining every sporting event, please for the love of God make it stop!

Trent Dilfer is apparently the best QB ever because he was a coat tail rider in Baltimore.

see i like gruden, little cocky, but he recognizes coverages/defenses and gives a perspective not many in the booth can give. To each is their own I suppose:p

I was about to say the same thing, he has a mouthpiece in football because of Ray Lewis and Ed Reed an company. He should send them royalties off of what he makes now...haha

ESPN as a whole sucks. But OMG, Dilfer is horrible and Berman thinks everything is about him. Ugh.

Gruden isn't that bad, whoever said that before. He is fantastic compared to these two.

That guy gets a rager on a 4 yard run by any RB on any team. As emotionless and boring as Joe Buck is, he doesn't go apeshit when a routine play occurs.

You don't see Brad Johnson shaking his dick at every opportunity because he has a ring. At least he had a long and somewhat meaningful career and some decent stats, Dilfer is probably the least responsible QB to win a ring.

Still love Gus Johnson, that man contributed to some very cool moments.
"Stokley, down the sideline, will they catch him, Stokley, WAAAAAAAAA!"
