slightly OCD, but ....here's one of mine.
I keep seeing blue NYG Super Bowl jerseys for sale...the Giants didn't wear blue jerseys in either of the last 2 super bowls....so, why do they keep showing up?

Agreed on this. I hate it when someone will use a stock photo when their card has a smudged auto or dinged corner.

How about just getting buyers to pay for an item. And having to be super nice and PC about it because the slightest thing will get you a negative.
"If you need some more time, just let me know......." what I really want to say "Hey, deadbeat, pay for your card so I can mail the damn thing out."

In the same vein:
When sellers have those ridiculously high BINs, and my initial offer gets rejected, only for the seller to reduce the BIN drastically in a few days and end up selling it for less than what I offered originally...maybe I just offended them at first and they didn't want to come back around to my offer or something. Makes no sense.

Dear drew42football,
We have seen your principles my friend just in the one small situation. I block all 4 people I have left negative for in 3 years for the very retaliatory nature of the industry.
By you finding out shows me the motive you had. Thus I made the right decision. BTW Who doesn't have 2 id's? Let alone thousands of followers/friends on card forums. Make sure you put that extra 20 to good use. By the sounds of it you are scratching by. Love how you just discount my loss and say you take a loss many a times but this spare change you shrug at. Judging by your private listings you try to control your losses. Check the forums I will be there and you will me mentioned

Dear wheeler281,
I didn't relist the item, I listed the same item twice, one for $19.95 and $39.95. The $19.95 price was set for the refractor version and the $39.95 for the green refractor version. Not sure what mistake I made in turbo lister, but clearly a mistake was made.
I have no problem selling a card for less than market value and over the years have done it plenty of times. If you had read my initial email, you would have seen that I didn't relist the card, but already had it listed at the $39.95 price.
I'm surprised that you take a lesson learned approach on this. You will run into someone that will retaliate with a negative feedback (blocking the person before leaving a negative, doesn't mean they don't have a second ebay id)...not worth my time...you have your principles, I guess and I have mine.
Take care

I am sorry to inform you that there is an error in the listing as it was listed twice - one listing at 19.95 and the other at 39.95 (item #160882312053). Unfortunately, when I loaded turbo lister I had two green Rainey auto patches, instead of the base auto patch at 19.95 and the green at 39.95.
Let me know if you have any questions. I will be sending a request to cancel the transaction. If you are interested in either item, please feel free to make an offer as they have been relisted correctly.

Zero fb bidders that obviously don't pay
people scanning the cards and then cropping the image so you can't see how damaged the edges/corners are
when card shows up damaged inside the toploader with no damage to the toploader and seller says "it wasn't damaged when I sent it" BS

In my opinion It looks like an honest mistake he already had the auto patch #/1058 set at 19.95. Why would he sell the green ref auto #/99 at the same price? As a seller it hurts when you receive your first neg because you work so hard to stay perfect. Then some hard head comes along who doesnt want to listen to reason and is trigger happy on the neg.

I would have just sent the guy the card and moved on...it's $20 who cares...i would have explained nicely and asked the guy if it was ok to cancel it, if he said no i want the card then i would have just sent it and been done...not worth all this kinda hassle and drama...or a negative.
doesn't mean the buyer was correct on this either, if I was the buyer i would have let the guy off the hook personally.

His story is false
He did not have 2 different ones listed. He has since revised the old auction after to appear that way. See I at 1st put in an offer of 17 then decided to hit the bin because sometimes being cheap and trying to save $2 cost me an auction
BTW-20 bucks would be if someone hits the bin on his "relis" Lucky it might be 15.
His comments were
"I have no problem selling a card for less than market value and over the years have done it plenty of times."<<---- really?? Just not this one I guess
Not like I searched out his listings and was like got ya. I type Chris Rainey auto and see newest listings and scroll. I see something I like I hit it. I did not go wow got this guy he has 2 listed.
edit- If I overpay for something(which I do all the time) I do not go wow honest mistake Sorry but I can't pay

another thing that pisses me off is when I offer someone a lot MORE than something is worth and they turn down my offer, and then it sells for half of what I offered them. Unless it's a 1/1 or really low numbered and i think i wont see another one, if i make an offer on something i usually wont bid on it if the seller turns it down.
I always want to send them a message later saying hey you greedy fool, how's that offer I made for $50 more sound now?....but, i don't lol.

I can't fathom leaving a neg to "teach a lesson" to someone who appears to have made an honest mistake.
Wheels appears to be a real jerk. At least sign off with your name in a business correspondence.
I bid on an item and the seller accidentally ended the auction to highest bidder, rather than ending it completely. I won the card for about 1/20th the value. I cancelled because I knew it was an honest mistake. Why beat the guy up over the mistake. I know when you smell blood you won't stop biting, but you might be the one who needs assistance.

People who lists cards at a price that is too high. It ends, so they resist at same price. Again doesn't sell. It makes me giggle.
