Hey guys, quick q:
What impact do you think Aaron Hernandez's injury will have on Rob Gronkowski cards / on-field performance?
I'm thinking the Patriots are going to have to lean even more on Gronk now, which means he might be in line for a few monster games.
Anyone else agree? Disagree?
Thanks in advance!

I don't see Gronk cards rising much more. At least not enough to make an "investment" worth it.

I don't see Gronk rising much higher either.
If you want to invest in a Patriots TE, why not Winslow? Cheaper, he'll be seeing a lot of plays when Gronk isn't an option, and the Pats just might inflate his stats for a few weeks. They're in the business of creating and padding receiver stats and they love their dual tight end formations.

I love Gronk's play, but I would not be "investing" in his cardboard at this point.
Honestly, if anyone is a good "investment" due to Hernandez's injury, I think it's Hernandez. He's an integral part of the Pats offense and signed long term. Hernandez hasn't had his "best" season yet. Gronk possibly has had his best (best season by a TE in nfl history)...

Aaron Hernandez is considered NE best WR. That is saying something when you are playing with Gronk, Welker and Brandon Lloyd.

Don't think gronks prodcution will go up. If it's not Winslow who gets looks, it's going to be welker or lloyd

lloyd is an amazing investment now compared to gronk.

Gronk is and will reamin one of the best weapons in the NFL at the TE position and is BEAST! I bought some of his 1/1's, Logo Shield and stuff before he broke out. Now his stuff is pretty high and I think it will remain steady now. But yeah if you dont have a nice Gronk get one, the guy is 22 years old.

TE cards are worthless in the hobby honestly. Look at gonzo, sharpe, Dallas Clark, some of the best ever and better tight ends of the past 20 years. Commons is all they are.

Also most dont have the higher end Rookie or RPA's Gronk does. They havent had a second year like Gronk either.
