Lets pick a week to boycott the NFL.

They are not going to let regular officials back as long as the ratings stay strong. Its not those guys fault. They are out of their league. It would be like putting in replacement QB's and blaming him for the loss.

I say in two weeks lets not turn on any NFL games. It would also be nice to have people not fill the seats. Hurt them where it hurts.

Come on.

That's like women boycotting Oprah or The View.

We're men, we'll continue to watch NFL football even if it's played in Amsterdam with Somalians.

Tickets are already sold. TV network deals are in place. This is not how you get back at the NFL.

You saying that twenty thousand empty seats wont hurt concession sales at stadiums?

The league listens when owners start losing money.

Owners all lose money. You don't own a professional franchise to MAKE money. It is about status. They don't have to run their team like a real business because they don't care if they profit or not.

The could use soccer refs and I'd still watch the Giants play.

I hate to say it but Roger Goodell was absolutely right when he was not buying all the "we're not coming back to the NFL" threats during the lockout.

He knew the NFL is the trough and we're the pigs that eat from it. As long as the food is there we'll eat (sorry about the analogy but it's true).

It is a smart business move when you have a monopoly. The NFL has an antitrust exemption and they take full advantage of it.

For sure. That's like america 'trying' to boycott Microsoft. Not happening.

Your not as serious as the OP are you in asking us to boycott the NFL.
If so. Then a group of people who own a team like to spend big money in their season, but don't care if they only make back about 75% or less of the initial cost of the operating budget back every year. ummmmm I think not. If this was the case there might not be a NFL.

Most of the teams in the NFL make money and they are a legitimate business and are run like one....

The "profit" margins for teams that are highly successful are tiny. The teams who suck and don't pay for decent players are the ones that have owners making cash.

Sad thing is, the normal refs f*ck up tons too...but no one makes a big deal out of it because they are professional refs.

I'm not a big fan of refs in general, but you have to be blind not to see how much these scabs are screwing up games. Just look at how long they are taking, if nothing else.

I'm not saying these refs are any better, but the normal refs screw up many, many times...just as Steeler fans when they lose!:devil:
