sad mailday :(

so, a /50 out of platinum was won last week by me on ebay. It came today utterly mangled. granted, decoys may not have stopped this type of damage, but we'll never know since they weren't used.

ugh. 25 dollars down the tubes. guess I'll see what the seller wants to do.

Looks like the seller wants me to send back for a full refund which I don't have a problem doing. Am I out the postage for that? never had to do a return before?

Either it got rolled over by a tank or the seller didnt make the package thick enough and it went through the sorting machine and got stuck.

It happened to me the other day. Po faults not the sellers fault. Decoys would not have helped mine or the way yours looked yours either. Po is getting really bad.

My memory is going in my old age, but was this the package that the tracking info updated with "Visibly Damaged"? If so, they weren't kidding!

When I'm selling on eBay, I usually don't get insurance unless the total is $50.00 or more. Seeing that, I might lower my threshold a little bit.

Sorry about your card Andy, I never heard from the guy I sold the package to that had the "visual damage" update in tracking history. Must have been nothing close to that :eek: Just out of curiosity did yours show that message??

eh, I'll PWE a base or insert if i'm just tossing it to somebody as a freebie. in this case, I don't think even decoys may have stopped it aside from possibly making the package just slightly thicker. oh well.

I think eating the postage is a great deal compared to eating the total cost of card, he sent it and I dont think its his fault.Good seller if you ask me.And sorry about that sucks dude :(
