There is no auto or memo guarantee in the 20 dollar blasters and there is one auto or memo per 24 pack retail loose pack box. Panini has gone downhill with numbering inserts and autos with the exception of Elite Football. In 2010-11 Prestige there was parallels of base cards of /499 (retail only), /249, /49, /25 and /10 and there was a draft rights /999 for rookies. Got only gold /249 and black /10 this year. At least Prestige football has /999 rookie parallels and numbered autographs. NBA please let Topps have its NBA license back so we can have Chrome Refractors /500 which would skyrocket when it is first released.

Dont buy it.. If people stopped buying they would be forced to make a change. Instead people make forum threads daily crying like girls.. Go buy Retro for 450.00 let me know how you do.

The Retro price is too high for me, 3 months worth of my budget.

Im sorry but I am just not feeling retro. I will look into getting a blaster of prestige at my local target as well as picking up a few singles on from the bay.
So you're bashing on the product and company because of the retail Blasters and packs? News flash, retail for the most part has always sucked. Why don't you show some restraint, and save some money for hobby packs/boxes?

I agree with OP that Topps Chrome is like a must in retail. Even the odds of pulling refractor is low, those RCs are gems. Panini RCs? I'm sorry, they are cheaper than the stamp.

Panini products have never been great retail products. I have always had better success with Topps and Upper Deck retail.

Except for Donruss Basketball Blasters, I got 2 autos and several rubies /25 in those blasters. Almost like a mini hobby box if you get lucky to find a blaster.

I really miss Topps Finest Basketball Rookies(and Chrome also)! Remember the good ol' days?
Webber, Hardaway, Hill, Kidd, Garnett, Kobe, Iverson, Duncan, Mcgrady, Dirk, Pierce...etc... sigh! :(

I actually took my own advice and stopped buying just to buy, I only buy exactly what I want at this point. haven't done much basketball...... I did hoops because it was cheap though.

Donruss was good,
I've got /29 and /49 inserts from players like Wade, Lebron, Nash and Love.
They still put them out a lot over at Dicks sporting goods.
