i just recently pulled a Autographed Rookie Refractor Jumbo Patch Red NFL Shield of Robert Griffin III only 1/1. since that card is even rarer than a super refractor i was wondering what would be the value of it.

Well I'm pretty sure it's still from a product that has multipule 1/1s since Triple threads isn't out yet. Plus any product that has a superfractor only have at most 3 supers in it

We all understand that TTT has about 3 dozen 1/1s for each player

I sold the cam 1/1 topps platinum red refractor nfl shield last season for $4700 during his peak. I recall the superfractor 1/1 version of the card selling for right around 4500 as well during that time.

I'd say it'd be right around the same price as the superfractor, despite the fact it has a better patch (nfl shield), imo

And is making wild claims that is it obviously more valuable than a superfractor. Nothing to be alarmed about yet, but I see red flags waving on the horizon....

Congrats on the pull and thank you for serving from this vet. Always love to read stories like this. Too many bad apples been around here before you friend, this can be a lively bunch so give them a chance.

As for the answer...tough to say. RG3 looks like the real deal but I would wait until Thanksgiving to sell it. That's when RG3 will beat the Cowboys on the grandest stage he's been on in his career. One good game and that sucker will be worth many thousands. The good news about cards like yours is that they won't lose value as quickly as other cards. I'd say $4000 is a solid price but you know there are many many many rich Redskins faithful out there who would pay a pretty penny for that so could be go for more.

Do yourself a huge favor and unless you have someone you know with solid Ebay feedback and knows the ropes get yourself a cosigner and do a consignment job when you sell it. I do that, not that it matters, for people who don't have the time or feedback to get a good asking price on cards (plug for my auctions ending tomorrow for a member here!). Something like that you just don't want to put on Ebay without a history as it will kill your resale value. If you need anything or have any questions about anything feel free to send a private message. Take care and be safe out there,
