I mean I'm proud of their effort. The seats were filled and fans were cheeeing the whole game!!! We have been thru this before, let the rebuilding begin.

Honestly was as excited as I have been as a Magic fan in a long time for opening day. The Cancer is gone, this team plays well together. I am optimistic that they can compete for a 7-8 seed in the East. Like the Darrell Armstrong days all over again :)

Agree!!!! The Knicks are doing it big for New York and the storm victims.
Made them all proud.

Good win for the Magic.
I don't expect them to win many games, but who knows.
Either way, good to see them fight hard.

The place was loud buy fairly empty. I had to say it was about 75% full on opening night is awful. I was able to get 2 superstar seats in the 3rd row for $230. Last year the cheapest was $200 for 1.

It's always reported like that. Empty seats behind the basket and upper bowl.

Finally JJ Reddick can shine, he has been held back way too long.

Well, at least they can depend on Big Baby to give 100% effort every night.

I agree, I definitely had a feeling about Redick this season hence why I picked him pretty early in fantasy. Hope he keeps good minutes when crappy Hedo comes back.

Redick can shine? That is funny. All he does is shoot 3's. He plays Zero defense and I don't think he even knows what a layup is. If that is what Magic fans have to look forward to then this will be a very long season for Orlando fans.

9 of his 24 points tonight were from three pointers. Therefore he does not only shoot 3's.
The man has worked hard his whole career to finally get a chance to show what he can do.
The season was going to be long from the start, as is every season when you lose a potential franchise player.

Are you a Piston fan? If you are just trying to start something then go back into your hole. I merely stated a comment within the flow of this thread. The Pistons have nothing to do with the Magic or JJ "3 Point" Redick.

Wow, this comment tells me w/ 100% certainty that you haven't ever watched him play. If you're going to comment, at least write something that doesn't make you come off as completely ignorant to the subject.

Well, that fat turd Davis is the reason Orlando lost. No way around it. He was horrible, he got stuffed with the same #@#@#@#@ everytime. He took a 3 when Orlando was making a comeback. He just played horribly, and never stopped shooting

Yeah some bad decisions but honestly he has improved a lot so we have to accept the good with bad.

I don't get why Orlando needs to keep rebuilding
Its a very beautiful place to live, it should attract alot of free agents.
Hopefully this time they use it wisely. No more 120 million for rashard Lewis like move.
Good luck Orlando Magic!
Go Lakers! Peace!

He needs to learn how to use his new found green light given to him by Vaughn. Just because he's now looked to as somewhat of a go to guy, doesn't mean he can all of a sudden turn into an NBA superstar scoring 25ppg and taking a shot everytime he touches the ball. We have 3-4 guys that can go off for 30 on any given night, or take the big shot when needed and we need to learn how to "spread the wealth" so to speak and truly play as a team where no one is concerned w/ how many shot attempts they get or how many points they score. The Magic will thrive playing good team basketball and I think we have players that are willing to make it happen.

Such a bad decision when he tried that 3 pointer, that pretty much sealed it lol

Well said. He takes horrible shots. I was excited about this team without Dwight because we didn't feel we needed to run the offense through our big man anymore. We are running into the same problem with BBD now

So what is Redick doing that is so good?
He can't hit 3's anymore and still has no idea what defense is. I think you might be the ignorant one here and am almost 100% sure you don't even know the definition of that word.
