This is the reason I don't want foles in as an eagles fan. That O-line is terrible, and Foles will be set up for failure or injury.

I agree, that throw was too far ahead of him. Time to bench Vick, he's only getting saved by the running game. But two drives inside the 5 and only 3 points. Sorry, but he's not good enough to run this offense.

He looked pretty solid in the preseason, also, Eagle fans are really restless to do better. I don't think he'd just light it up out there. That O-Line is ass.

LOL!! Might not be as big an issue if Reid would have balanced out what actually worked for us...the run game. It's like he totally abandoned it after it was clicking. Then he sprinkled it in to only drain the clock when we were down 15. Terrible play calling.

Missing 4 out of 5 starting offensive linemen could be a little problem in the near future.

Sure he's made his share of mistakes but NOBODY could play behind that horrendous line and even worse offensive play calling. Put Foles in (whom the infamous "anonymous sources" have said isn't ready to start) and risk ruining him behind the worst offensive line in the history of professional football ? Really ? If anything, people who watched all the Eagles games this year should appreciate Vick for getting the p*ss beat out of him and going back out there. No way would I want my QB of the future taking that pounding as a rookie. Even when they were only missing Peters and had guys like Herrimens and Watkins in there he was getting killed.

This is on Andy and the front office for poor drafting and even worse FA signings the past few years. They never replaced Peters even though they knew he was out before the season. They have (now had) an aging guard playing right tackle in Herrimens who was regularly abused by such all-pro types as Kory Bierman and Cam Jordan among others this year. They drafted a fireman (Watkins) in the first round to play guard in '11 and signed journeyman types that couldn't play elsewhere to start and it shows. Throw Mornhenwig into that mix and you have what you witnessed last nite. I'm glad this was on national t.v. so people outside of Philly can see for themselves instead of listening to bloggers who watch high-lites of games then write their articles about benching Vick.

As always, nailed it. People who don't follow the Iggs like us local fans do really can't have the perspective that comes with watching game after game, and not just ESPN highlights.

I watch every eagles games and although the line is horrendous, An NFL QB like Vick should be able to at least read blitzes and call protections. He can certainly audible his recievers to run hot and dump the ball off. The great QBs do stuff like that. I won't debate that the line is terrible, but there are things that he can do to help keep a constant blitz on him.
