Well I hate to be the guy to bring this up midway through the season but the Colts are showing a real chance to make the playoffs. ESPN has them as a flip of the coin chance for playoffs at 54% in winning a projected 9 games. Listed below is their remaining schedule...

New England (@)
Buffalo
Detroit (@)
Tennessee
Houston (@)
Kansas City (@)
Houston

I can see them getting to their projected 9 wins and possible even 10 with wins coming from Buffalo, Detroit, Tennessee, and Kansas City

So do you think that the Colts will get a playoff spot this year?

That last Houston game may not mean anything to Houston, so I could see 4 or 5 wins coming from that list. The Colts are playing with an emotional determination that few teams have. They are on a mission, and they think they can beat anybody right now. I wouldn't want to play a team like that. I think they have a good shot at it.

^ I agree, it's hard to beat a team playing with emotion.

I don't know

But i laugh at all the people on the boards that said luck would be a bust 6 weeks ago..

He is already a top 10 qb after 9 games

Well nice screen name lol but yes Indy will make the playoffs with their remaining schedule they could end up in the playoffs at 9-7 but doubt they will lose 4 more... so 10-6 wildcard sounds right Detroit game could be the deciding 11-5 or 10-6

My Opinion:
New England (@) Tough Game...(L)
Buffalo (W)
Detroit (@) (Depends on CJ)
Tennessee (W)
Houston (@) (L)
Kansas City (@) (W)
Houston (W)

I am very impressed with Andrew Luck and the Colts indeed will be going to the dance. I like watching him play and what I really like seeing is how he plays like a veteran already and he is 9 games deep in to his career.

As a Colts fan, I'm going to say that the only way they make it is on a tie-breaker at 9-7. Luck has played great, but has struggled on the road. He looked good last night, but it was against the struggling Jaguars.

The only road game I see them winning is Kansas City. At home, they better hope that they can keep Spiller and CJohnson in check. If they get a decent lead early, they have a shot.

Love the emotion they are playing with, but it very hard to maintain it for the full length of a season. A bad game can take the wind out of their sails.

I hope they make it, but am cautiously optimistic.

Have a feeling that SD & Pittsburgh steal the wildcards.

Barring a major injury I think they'll be in the playoffs for sure. I see no reason that they couldn't win out and be 13-3. Imo the most they will lose os 2 more being NE (I bet it's a lot closer than people expect), and 1 Houston game. I don't see then losing 2x to the texans even if Houston does have something to play for in the last game.

There will be close games for sure, but I expect the Colts will come out on top for the majority.

I don't see who's going to challenge them in the AFC. 10-6, heck maybe even 9-7, will get them in.

EDIT: Only team I could see making a run is the Bengals. Hard to believe they are 3-5, but I could see them finishing out at 9-7.

Exactly last Houston Game will probably be a scrub game. I think this team has the capability to beat anyone. Most NFL teams do. WOuldnt count them out against anyone I think they get to 10 wins.

No they wont make it to 10 wins but if 9-7 gets them in the playoffs then yes.

I actually see them losing to NE, Buffalo, Detroit and Houston at least once.

Houston has had a pretty easy schedule so far. Anyone think they tie the colts at 11-5?

I do not see it happening. Still think 2 wild cards come out of the north

Wow, Houston twice in three weeks, if they beat them one of those times, yes.

Any given Sunday. They beat Houston one of those two times and pull one out against Detroit or New England, ya never know.

I'm obvously going to come off as biased, but I think at this point a 10-6 record is very possible. The heart they are playing with is incredible. I dare say that I have not seen the Colts play with this much heart in a long time. A long, long time. Not too long ago, Peyton Manning seemed to will this team with little support. These days, the whole team is seemingly playing with that same will. It's quite special to watch, really.

Definitely not since the days where Bob Sanders reignited our defense that one year en route to the Super Bowl

Same here. Losses to NE, and Houston twice or Houston and Detroit

I whole-heartedly agree with you! That was the last time I saw the team as a unit play with that much heart.

I think they will take the last and final wildcard spot, especially if the refs are pulling for them:

3 blown calls in a row yesterday (did they really need to do this vs the Jags?)

Luck didn't get that TD on 4 and goal
Laurent Robinson was down with arm/knee - no fumble
Someone help me out on the last call

Colts are a decent team in the AFC but I hate to see the refs pulling for them with blown calls. Let's hope it was only a one game thing (1st Colts game I watched this year).

Uh, seriously? If the refs are pulling for them? Because I'm sure the refs have a vested interest in helping the Colts beat the lowly Jags.

Alright then  Most likely Detriot but that's still unlikely.

I think they make it to 9-7, but don't know if that will be enough to squeak by. I think it'll come down to them and the Dolphins fighting for a second spot.

I say no, they'll be close but be edged out. Too many other really good teams
