Alabama isn't for sure yet, UGA is.

They'd have to lose to Auburn or Western Carolina. I'd say they're in.

Does Oregon have any competition left?
KSU could lose in the conference title game (do they still have enough teams to have one?)
TAMU played Texas yet? Texas might win that one.
Winner of SEC title game might sneak in.

Oregon has the toughest schedule out of those 3
No Big 12 title game.
Texas stinks.

Texas stinks.
No conference games:
Kansas State still plays Baylor and Texas
ND plays Wake Forest and USC
Both can lose out of those in my opinion
with Conference games:
Oregon plays Stanford and Oregon State
Bama still plays Auburn and only way they don't play in SEC champ is if they lose
Florida, LSU, FSU all need a lot to happen and need to not lose

Well Florida or FSU has to lose considering they play each other.

Where does the 'Computer Average' come from? These computers hate my school.
Harris - #6
USA Today - #6
Computer - no idea, somewhere around #30
If up to the computer the title game would be UF vs KSU

Only way Bama or Georgia makes it to the NC is if 2 of the 3 unbeaten lose
If all 3 lose then we might have a repeat of last year where a non conference
Champ plays for the title depending on Florida vs FSU

UF and UGA publicly said in the early 90s they would vote against FSU ever joining the SEC. I thought that was why FSU didn't join in 1992.
I'd like to abolish conferences and have each school negotiate schedules rather than a conference doling out 8 or 9 games a year.
Actually only Auburn. Western Carolina isn't in the SEC.
I'm aware, I can't believe Bama has a cupcake that late.

Auburn always ends the season with UGA and Bama.
Bama needs a week to rest before playing Auburn. Even though Auburn is no challenge this season, Bama still needs a cake before they Iron Bowl.

Lol, no love lost for them from me either. :)! I'm sick and tired of Arkansas being Alabama's & LSU's whipping post every season.

I dont want to see ND in the championship game. The others have to face proven opponents each week.

Outside of ineligible Ohio State, who in the Big 10 has a decent record?
Nebraska and Michigan are both in the BCS Top 25 but beyond those two the conference is weak.

Really? Who are Oregons proven opponents? ND crushed Miami, Oklahoma, and by the end of the year will have beaten Michigan, Stanford, USC, etc.
Oregon beat USC and will probably beat Stanford.

My typing tripped over my sarcasm in my post. The Big 10 is truly pitiful this year and it is driving me crazy.

Thye've been on a downslide since 2007, It's getting ugly when they play bigger Bowl games too.
Nothing worse than watching Michigan give up a 50 burger to Mississippi State.

Maybe it's time to give the last Big 10 team to beat the mighty Rolling Tide in a bowl game another shot :)!

Hope Oregon wins out the rest of the year and wins the big game this year! It's about time Bama is out of the running (for now) and a team like Kansas is in the spotlight.

At basketball perhaps, Kansas would probably lose to several high schools right now.
Kansas State on the other hand is solid.

Pretty sure Michigan won the Sugar Bowl last year. Rich Rod era was a joke, I wish we loss every game.

I think it's Oregon's time to shine--they need this BCS title and they are deserving.
The likely absence of the SEC is the only hope for any non-SEC team to win it all.
