i have it set up for ebay to automatically file after day 4 and to close after day 8.........

so 8 days with no payment with 2 reminders.

he is a member on this board, so hopefully he shows up to explain. if it's legit, i will remove him from the blocked list.

I've got a NPB alert submitted for him as well for a child's prism auto. Luckily only 13.50 but he has done this before. He is on here. I think he even posted yesterday.

I am on the verge of filing two, after he purchased two cards from me and paid with an eCheck that has yet to clear. They have tried a number of times, but there are no funds in the account he paid with.

Not even close. They aren't in the business of getting rid of buyers, they have every rule set up to protect buyers.

Years ago, ebay was pro-seller, but they started to lose buyers. They decided to go with the theory of, if you have buyers, you will have sellers. They have grown ever since and screwed sellers at every chance.

I have had the same buyer NPB 2 times in a month, my fault for not blocking him. Ebay did nothing. I watched him bid on other peoples stuff for weeks after. Ebay doesn't care about NPB. It's there to give fees back to sellers and try to make up for sellers, not being able to leave neg feedback.

Many of these NPB people are sellers on ebay, using a second acct to make purchases and not screw up the rep of their seller acct. They make bids or hit bins, and then watch the direction it heads, if up they pay, if down, they are gone. They do this with hot cases of bowman. Hit BINS on release and watch for a few days. I have talked to ebay about this, showed them the proof, and they have never stopped a guy from continuing to bid.

For what it's worth he bought a Rueben Randle Chrome auto from me last Sunday...did not pay for 4 days..I messaged him and he quickly responded that he was awaiting payments from other sales before he could pay. I gave him an extension until today and he paid a few hrs ago.

No, be sure to mention that you won't accept that form of payment in your listing. I used to use eChecks until I linked my Debit card to my PP account. Helped out immenseley.

I have now had (Officially, my third big NPB just closed) $1800 in non-paying buyers in the last 2 weeks. I am not a bulk seller or anything, just unlucky I guess. The items were the following prices

I think chrome is my last release i'll be selling for a while I actually didn't even buy as much as I usually would, it's just like everytime you sell 20 items, you have to file 10 cases it seems like..... it's getting way too out of hand, they are going to have to do something about it before too long, it's just getting crazy, and the people lying trying to use the system to steal cards is over the top as well. it's just like in every batch you got a stack of people doing it. you can't do a new product without having tons of issues.

I love folks that, without asking, ask to wait to pay you until they receive payment. If you negotiate that in advance that is one thing, but to make that a practice when buying from strangers on ebay? Ridiculous. Have the money in hand when you bid, or don't bid.

I had to do this to a base auto with the buyers name as "die slow". And I still had to wait eBay wouldn't close it. I listed it immediately anyway knowing this jerk wouldn't pay. I feel really bad for you guys. Big time

I'm stupid.

He won a Dwyer Topps Chrome red refractor RC from me. Payment was pending with the echeck on PayPal, but I decided to send the card anyway to avoid multiple trips to the post office. Briefly checked his feedback, figured I was safe with over 3k. He reassured me that payment would go through. Turns out it bounced as have many others.

Luckily it was a $10 transaction.

Don't trust echecks.

EDIT: payment made this evening; I appreciate the delayed effort, and hope brios8 can sort out his other transactions.

He is always making excuses and trying to pass the blame onto others for attacking him. One is a mistake, two times is a trend, and now taking cards.. Your no better than a scammer and I hope your on many others block lists now.
