I think the name is stupid, but I do like the colors and at least it's not as cartoonish I thought it would be.

I think this Pelican, would kick the New Orleans Pelican's arse! Its the mob boss of Pelicans with that bat! Cool Logo! The New Orleans Logo looks like its laying an egg, in the shape of a Basketball. LOL.

Looks pretty sweet. I think it will take awhile for everything to get used to the name. The same way it took people awhile to get used to names such as Pacers, Heat, Magic, Clippers, Pistons, etc. Those are household names but if you really think about it, they are odd names for a team.

Exactly. Like with the Miami Heat. It sounds so normal, yet if you think about it, it would be like there being a team called the Minnesota Cold. Or similiar to the Oklahoma City Thunder, there being a team called the Portland Rain. If those were the team names, initially we would think they're dumb or silly, but over time people get use to them and they become household names.

The name was picked for the history behind it. There was an old New Orleans Pelicans baseball team around the 1910's. graphics look great though.

I'm just not feeling the Cavaliers color scheme... Or the name. But I have no say in the matter so it is what it is.

I suppose I'm going to have a decision to make if they rename the Bobcats the Hornets. I know I'll be a Pelicans fan :rolleyes: but do I switch to collecting the Pelicans or do I stick with the Hornets? I must admit it would be fun to have a whole new crop of players autos to chase after.
I guess I'll just have to collect both teams & figure out a way to separate them :)!

It's all about money$$$ Benson owns the rights to the name "New Orleans Pelicans" but he doesn't own the rights to "Hornets". Whenever things don't make sense follow the money.

I wish it was more colorful to make sicker patches. I found brighter colors like green, blue makes better patches .

The Brass were the minor league hockey team that New Orleans had for a few years, The Voodoo was the arena football team, and the Pelicans were a minor league baseball team.
