Really? Again with this sh!t, this time all basketball. Here is the solicitation I received.

2012/13 Upper Deck All-Time Greats Basketball
Upper Deck has announced the return one of its most popular items – All-Time Greats Basketball. This limited production run features a prestigious checklist with only 18 high value basketball greats. Every tin will contain 3 base cards + 1 autographed card. Every 6 boxes will have a Michael Jordan Autograph! Collectors will love finding rare “Team of Ages” boxes containing 5 cards that are all autographed. A window in the top of the tin shows which player is inside once the outer box is opened, building even more suspense! The checklist is: Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Julius Erving, Magic Johnson, Bill Russell, Larry Bird, Hakeem Olajuwon, Grant Hill, David Robinson, Dennis Rodman, Jason Kidd, Allen Iverson, Karl Malone, Gary Payton, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Isiah Thomas, and Reggie Miller. The only issue is with such a small print run, and incredible demand, this product is subject to allocation based on previous Upper Deck sales.

Gary Payton and Ray Allen are two of my very favorite players. But I know that if I were to pull either of their tins, I would be very disappointed (from a cost perspective).

I don't understand this product's need to exist.

There is no guarentee of a MJ auto in 6 boxes. Check out sizzlers 15 tin break. He didnt get a single MJ/Gretzky/Woods auto out of 15 tins. But you have a good chance of getting a ton of Hogan and Slater autos

We have not seen a Reggie autograph since....what....04/05? I'll be curious to see what effect this has on the value of his older autos.
