A Contest, For Those Who Are Interested

It seems like there is a lot of negativity going around here. There have been some recent developments of which I won't get into, involving another member.

Anyways, since Christmas (or whatever holiday you are celebrating) is coming up fast, I thought I'd give away some stuff to make your Christmas just a little bit brighter :)

So, without any further adieu, here are the prizes!

I recently recieved a very generous gift from one "Sparky" (or Rinkwraith, depending on what time of year it is :)!). I wanted to show my gratitude, so if you would like, you may have first pick. I'll pm you.


Here are the rules!

Since we've determined our first winner, we'll switch the rules up for part two. To win, you must correctly guess my favorite actor. HINT: he's Canadian!


One guess per day. No editing posts. Once the actor is guessed, you will get to select one card that you will win, free of charge! Once that card is gone, we will repeat the process. I will only be giving away 3 cards; one will be staying in my collection (I can't give away everything!).

Good luck to all. This certainly hasn't been the most pleasant week of the year, both on the forums and throughout the world. I want to express my condolences to the victims of the horrible tragedy that occurred in Newtown, CT, and all of their families. I truly hope something like this never happens again.

Yes, Wikipedia worked! :) Didn't see the mascot part, but did see they were founded that year, had a retired number, and won the Cup that year.

DING DING DING! We've got our second winner! Kiefer is my favorite actor for a number of reasons. For one, he's Canadian :). Stand By Me was one of the first movies I ever saw in theaters, and his role was terrific in that film, and 24 is one of my favorite tv shows ever.
