I sold a card on eBay and now the buyer says he doesn't want to continue with the purchase..... What actions should I take?

Wait the required amount of time and file a NPB claim. Nothing more to do than that. If you don't want to stick it to the buyer, proceed with a "Cancel Transaction" process.

Will I get the selling fee back? Nothing else I can do?

Fees should be returned as the sale is reversed. You can also initiate cancel the transaction process, both sides must agree to this.

Yes, that's why I like giving them a NPB strike. I set up my account where it blocks all buyers with NPB strikes.

You dont have to do anything except send an invoice. After the certain period of time, the person hasnt paid, just open a NPB. The fees will be retracted on the NPB is served up. Simple as that!!

Yah that is what I did and I have Relisted the card.... Wish people wouldn't bid if they don't have any idea on what they are bidding on.

There are other tools you can use to protect yourself from those bidders who have no intentions of paying.

2 filters come to mind..

1. Filter set for feedback. Make sure you set a filter for a minimum feedback needed to bid on your auctions.

2. Filter set for NPB. You can filter out any bidders with 1 or more NPB knocks against their account. If you set it to 0, the only bidders that can bid on your items are those who have no NPB on their account.

These steps make it easier to filter out the high ratio of non paying bidders.

cancel the transaction, if they agree on their end you'll get your money back.

Why cancel it? Just hit him with NPB. You still get your fees back. He ends up with a NPB knock which means he cant bid on any of my items thereby I dont have to risk him as a potential NPB.

If you cancel the transaction, the bidder will do it again, but I wont be able to filter him out because you didnt report him. NPB is just like a negative feedback. It warns others of potential headaches.
