Taking old fleer designs and killing them with college players. Taking the great autographics set and turning it into a sticker auto set with .50 autos. Wow. Watch this product get super dooper overhyped because of the pmgs anyway. Hopefully the football forums don't turn into the basketball forums when this product drops. Lol.

The original football set was pretty crappy. Basketball is and was popular. Those PMG in football sometimes can be had for under $2 each.

Hopefully, they include some Jordy Nelson in here as well... but somehow, I doubt it.

These cards were RED HOT for basketball... I am not sure they will get the same kind of love for football, but who knows?

I don't recall completely, but I think basketball was $200-$250 on intro, and is almost $500 per box now. I believe it got up to over $700 at one point.

I can't see this doing the same jump, but the intro price will probably be on par.

Its definitely an expensive product. I think $350 for a 10 pack box was the MSRP. Not going to be as crazy as the basketball... but I think the RC PMGs will bring big money initially.

i remember part of that conversation mentioning that football isn't nearly as popular as basketball worldwide. That's why BB gets the price hike. Football doesn't have the same hobby love worldwide, so they will probably have to cut the price to sell the things.

Thanks bro. I'm gonna have to have shoulder surgery in 2013 so that's gonna set me back a bit. I know you feel though. I hate the feeling of getting small

I'll be picking up Packers singles for sure. I really like the retro Rookie Sensations and Autographics. No bad at all, imo. Nostalgia of my first years collecting :)

meh, I have never understood the draw of inserts. PMGs could be nice, but I don't collect college fortunately :)
