2003/04 SP Signature Basketball Hobby Box

I picked up a box at about half price and I am a degenerate gambler when it comes to opening boxes. I don't know too much about this set except that it is chock full of marquee rookies. Do you guys know if there are lots of redemptions for the key cards? Are the odds of recouping the $350 retail value low if I break it? So essentially do I break or do I sell? This was one of my all-time favorite products. A few of the Triple Auto's were redemption. I managed to hit a redemption of Lebron, Carmelo, and Darko when it was released...

sell it and try to make a profit. do not open!! i busted a ton of these back in the day and the odds are waaayyy against you pulling anything close to the price it appears you paid for it. yeah, you could hit a lebron or mj auto. but you could also get struck by lightning.

Sp signature definitely does NOT have a retail price of $350. You can find it for under $200 a tin virtually anywhere.

obviously don't ever listen to me. I broke a case of this sh** when it was new and never came close to anything like that. I blew a lot of money on sp authentic that year too, but i did hit a lebron insert auto that i flipped for a mj auto.
