rookie card question

I collect Topps rookie cards graded by Psa. I was looking to see if Geno Atkins and Jahri Evans had Topps rookie card. I checked the Beckett site and the earliest cards listed for them were 2012 and 2010 respectively but neither guys had any cards labeled a rookies. Am I correct in assuming these are their rookie cars or am I missing something?

It says Evans was a rookie in 2006 on wikipedia. If that's true, why would a 2010 card be his RC. He just doesnt have one, right?

For Geno Atikins, I think it's a mistake on beckett

Evans has no cards listed prior to 2010 and Atkins has none listed prior to this year. Both were rookies prior to those cards being released.

Can anyone confirm they have no prior cards issued?

i know that 2012 is atkins first card, therefore it is his base topps rookie card, they did the same with lavarr arrington. his rc yr was 2000, but topps didnt make his card until 2004, and it was his topps RC
