Not too many folks have seen the rare parallel Playoff Playoffs Sets the card maker has produced in recent years. The 1-of-1 Platinum Set however has garnered great attention after being found at a shop in . It sold for $10,000!
Chris Worley, a collector in Eugene, Oregon, bought the set only to find it was the Platinum Edition. He ended up selling it to a man from Coos Bay, a one Harold Thompson who is also a real collector. He had to part with his four wheel vehicle to get the money to pay for the set. Worley paid $100 for it at a local card shop.

The other parallel sets of which there are more than one list for about $4000. Thompson says he just doesn't know how much his is worth but he's not selling.
"I just wouldn't sell it, I just won't sell it if somebody offers me triple what I paid for it I might consider it," he told a local TV station. "I'm not going to sell that set."
The set with the double raindbow look wasn't what Worley was looking for but perhaps he has by now purchased the regular set using his $9,900 profit.
