Might belong in the box break section but I received a $20, 20 pack box from Walmart for Christmas.
One of the Allen & Ginter packs had the bottom clearly cut off with a pair of scissors. Pack had 5 cards and no mini.
Didn't really expect much from these things, but I didn't figure they would put opened packs inside.

Those boxes are not from The Fairfield Company, I believe they are from MJ Holding Company, LLC.

What probably happened is that they bought surplus from a retail store and put it into the boxes, and one of the surplus packs had been cut, which they didn't notice.
I don't think they actually search the packs they put in those boxes.

Yes, beware of retail blasters lacking the proper logo on the plastic wrap.

I have pulled some good cards out of those things including a 2011 Platinum Trout auto and a 2011 Topps Cano auto /10. $20 is a great deal as long as you get the ones with individual packs and not the ones that have racks or fat packs. Those are a lot worse but same price.

Many of those are searched or picked over packs, BUT having mini's missing from A&G is not unheard of. I opened a blaster today and it was missing 4 minis.

I have pulled some good stuff from these as well. Nothing close to a Trout but have pulled some 25 to 50 dollar cards.
