For anyone that thought maybe the Pens would fall off this year, they are 6-1 to start and 5-0 on the road so far. I know alot of people thought with the loss of Scuderi and Gill and a few others this was going to be the year for the Capitals or Flyers or Bruins...not so fast my friend! The Flyers will still struggle in goal like always as will the Capitals and Mike Green will go in the tank again and any other team just doesn't have the speed to keep up with the Pens. Good luck to the rest of the Eastern Conference, you're gonna need it.

Only 125,000 left under the cap. In the post-lockout NHL, the SC winner has always added a major component at the trade deadline. Not happening for the Pens this year.

Ha you'll never learn Rob and I was wondering where you were since the Pens won a few games. They got off to a fast start last year and had to fire the coach and make deals just to get back in the playoff picture. Your chances of repeating rest on the shoulders of one guy, Malkin. If he goes down around playoff time your Pens only chance of repeating goes down with him.
