Definitely sucks to see especially with such a young promising career ahead.. Even worse seeing how Dr. Andrews didn't approve him to play and coach & RGIII decided to anyways.

Ouch... Just shows how careful you have to be speculating on all these rookies "so called" potential until they have established themselves... It's not looking good for all the collectors that blew some serious cash into his stuff...

Of course my guy is Luck and I'd never make fun of an injury, but a lot of my Luck friends are really rubbing it in on RG3 supporters and I think it's really mean spirited.

I am no where near in the condition the RG3 is in but when I was younger, I had 3 knee surgeries on my right knee (from HS) and I have hardly any cartilage. I can't run more than three miles without not being able to walk the next day due to the bone on bone. There is not much you can do when you lose your cartilage. If you hear micro-fracture surgery he barley has any left. The fact the his injury occurred with no contact proved his ACL was already injured. When you tear an injured ACL is damages more cartilage than a normal tear would. If anyone could come back close to 100% it will be RG3 but the deck is stacked.

Hope it was worth letting him play another 3 quarters and still losing the game.

I would HOLD HOLD HOLD! Just put up a RG3 Topps 1984 Auto /100 for auction and it sold for $215 over $100 less than what I paid for it! During the game against Seattle the same card sold for $500!

I didn't believe it at first, but now it is confirmed his cards are nose diving, at least for now.

Not just rookies, every player in the NFL is susceptible to a career ending injury. We're all gamblers in this hobby!

Is now a time to buy or do you see them dropping in price yet?

Agreed. The problem will be that most sellers will put these up in the hope that RG3 is super human like Adrian Peterson and his cards will become scarce for a little while (at least in no reserve auctions).

Sellers are going to put them all at BIN/BO going forward, so if you see an auction and can get a good deal take it! The sellers will not take a loss, rather hold and hope for the best then sell at this point.

$100 of it was by them losing but was never a 400(1 bid on 1 card is not the average) card that was just a JA paying wayyyy to much. The guys who paid 300-330 for 3 color were paying the going rate but yeah if no knee issue you would have got over 200.

Looks like he lost half his value so far.
