Of course there are a few on early.
And they are not impressive.
Vida Blue (who I personally like), CC Sabathia with the Indians.
No bids on any of them.
Usually they jumbo relics are good for $10-$15 minimum upon release. I'm having my doubts right now.
We'll see, breaking 3 jumbo cases tomorrow. Here's hoping...

Where are you seeing these? I have typed in "jumbo relic" found none and "jumbo patch" found none, not even under just "relic". In the past jumbo relics have brought in a ton more than $10-$15. I remember selling an Upton patch #d/9 (or something around there) that went for around $100 and even a Mark Reynolds sold for over $50. Of course they were patches, not just plain jersey. I've always loved the jumbo relic cards in Topps Series 1/2/Update because they are always patches, not just single color jersey cards.

2013 topps cy young | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313&_nkw=2013+topps+cy+young&_sacat=0&_from=R40)
And to be clear, I mean relics from jumbo packs, not jumbo patches #d to 5.

I usually like the manufactured relics, but these ones don't seem as cool as the last few types they made. Maybe when I see them up close they'll be better, but I'm having 2nd thoughts about picking up a couple jumbo boxes tomorrow.

It's got 19 hours left, this will be at 10-15 if not higher tomorrow easy.

I have my doubts. The players that I have seen just don't have a collectible market.
I'll have my cases in an hour or so. Should be interesting.

I agree that the player checklist is weak for these. However, the autograph checklist is MUCH stronger this year and people are already pulling tons of retired and HOF autos. Gary Carter seems to be popping up everywhere and even Mike Trout.
So in the end, relics may drop a bit this year but autos will do well.
P.S. I heard this year the relics are over 180pt. so they will not fit in 180pt holders like in year's past.
