What are some other reputable places everyone orders from and has good luck with preorders and such besides Midtown?

I have nothing but good things to say about DCBS. Their packaging is first rate as is the condition of books. You even have the option to get Mylites2s' and fullbacks with your orders.

TFAW does a great job, but they take forever to ship. It took them nearly 2 weeks to get me my Star Wars books. Cost me $11.50 for 8 books, and took two weeks. Unacceptable, but I can always pay more for speedier shipping, but really, $11.50 for 8 books? Not even bagged and boarded, two weeks.. come on.. Midtown isn't that bad. Their slow service usually gets to me within a week.
