nowhere men white cover black dirt

i have 2 nm #2 that have the black ink smudge on the left corner, i would like to have it graded, wondering what grade will i get if i send it in.

Im not good at grading, still learning. Just guessing here

If that is soiling then its 9
If its an abbrasion its a 9.4
I really cant tell what that is though. It could be on all the books printed and therefor be nothing. I dont have any of the books where i can check.

Exact same spot for both books... I guess from printing. The book itself is great all corners are sharp , flat.

That is the reason i did not pick them up. There are clean NWM 3s available but if that is all that was available, try a gum eraser on it. Be gentle as you are working around the spine.
