Hey guys, I was just recently looking at the release calander and came across something called Topps Chipz. They're like chips with players on them, and even some are autographed and some have relics in them. There's also inserts like gold, silver, and glow in the dark. I think they look pretty cool and if you could complete a base set (100 base chips) and find some way to display them it'd look really cool. I might actually consider buying these when they come out. There supposed to be a game that you play along with it, but I'd probably just collect. What do you guys think about these? Would you buy some?

I think it's good that they're trying to get more kids interested in baseball collectibles. I'd definitely try and get one of those signed Posey chipz. Don't think I'll buy any myself, but would rather just try and pick up a few singles... and yes, I'm also not sure how to display them.

If Topps wants to have a product called Topps Chipz then they need to do something like the Calbee Chips Cards here in Japan and launch a product where you get a pack of baseball cards with a bag of potato chips.
I'd love to see them reach an agreement with Frito Lay so I can buy a bag of Cool Ranch Doritos and a pack of baseball cards at the same time. Of course it won't help people trying to lose weight but hey, YOLO!

Why is the entire Texas Rangers Roster in the checklist? The dodgers have a ton of stars and only have 2 players?!!?

They have protective clear page sleeves for coins(You can display 20 coins on a page). Would be a perfect way to display these.

I think I will be picking up a box or two of this, I like unique products.

They look like they should be sold at 7-11s on the bottom of Slurpee cups.
