Why do some people buy used redemptions?

yeah so they can go clain to topps that the redemption doesnt work so they can try to get a free card from it

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ also, and yes i think they can be that stupid but i dont know for sure. i dont know if people have had success with this. I guess they do if they keep selling for that much
