I almost bid on this 1/1 Certified Gronkowski card but just realized with close inspection the top right side is miscut. Feel bad for the people bidding on this now.
thoughts?

i don't see it......
really? top right edge angles in...you dont see it?
Compare it to the penny sleeve edge and top loader edge.
If it were just the picture the lines for the penny sleeve edge and top loader edge would also be bent in.
Probably just the picture

I agree with the OP - the back doesn't look good either if you use the zoom - there is a noticeable difference in the shape of the card compared to the penny sleeve on front and back.
Might be fine - and just the picture - but I wouldn't risk it without him providing another scan.

I sent him a msg about an hour ago. Havent heard back yet. Usually if you dont hear back before the auction ends they dont want to answer the question....or they never got to it before it ended. Either way with it already at $50 im not going to risk it without a reply.

From the auction: Please see scan. Very slight edge/corner chipping.
I think there's minimal damage and the seller is just covering their @$$. I was watching this one, but not sure of pay much more over the current price.

Yeah, that was my reaction too. Otherwise, I have no idea what the OP is talking about.

A shadow wouldnt cause the card to look smaller on one edge it would make it look larger. Anyhow seller msged me back with these. Seems like a honest mistake.
"I am really having a hard time telling if it is or not. I have it right under a direct light and can't really tell. Even so, I am cancelling the auction as I don't want anyone unhappy, and have already notified the high bidder at this point. Thanks for giving me a heads up"
and
"Thanks again for the heads up. Apparently, I can't end it because it is to close to the ending time. Plus it won't let me update any information on it. Thanks again."

I see what OP is referring to. The top portion of the right edge seems to suddenly dive to the left in line with Gronk's eyes.

You're really a piece of PLASTIC to compare the edge of the card to? I have had many times throughout my years of collecting seen toploaders where the edges are straight. It's plastic, it bends.
I'd bet that the card is just fine.
EDIT - I just zoomed in on the scan, and the card is slightly crooked in the scan. The card isn't miscut.

I get this effect with refractor type cards all the time. I have to dump the pic & re-scan because for some reason it looks "wavy". Its just the pic.
