I was checking facebook and seen this post by RG3 about 6 hours ago

First came this:

"I'm all in for week 1 with adidas"

Then this:

" Starting week 1 will be the result of healing, hard work, dedication and Gods anointing. no rush, just determination"

Finally this:

"Feel like i need to say this...although my goal is to start week 1, that doesn't mean i will compromise my career to do so"


This is what i think he was thinking as he posted these things:

1) hell yeah i am gonna be out there week 1

then thought for a moment, i better clean that up a little

2) i plan on being out there week 1 cause i am gonna rehab my butt off

then thought for another moment, i better clean that up a little cause i know people are gonna now expect me to play week 1

3) i am gonna try my best to be out there, but i am no adrian peterson

I think he may be an Adrian Peterson when it comes to being a physical freak.

I hope he doesn't come back to early and hurt himself he was fun to watch! I do not think anyone is AD! Hopefully he will be ready week 1 but if not i hope he makes the right choice to sit down.

I agree and i think he will make the right decision or at the very least Mike Shanahan does. I think with alot of people questioning Shanahans decision in that game to let RG3 stay in there, will make him more likely to hold him out for a few weeks to make sure he is ready.

Plus, the skins have Cousins who is a very capable back up and can hold the fort down til RG3 is completely healthy

The Severity of RG3's injury was twice that of Ap's, and it is his second knee surgery. Don't get your hopes up.

I'm thinking they are doing the same thing with Rose right now. They have a TON riding on Rose and RGIII and I'm guessing Adidas is in their ear daily about not coming back until completely healthy

If I were an athlete I'd be more concerned about what my physical therapist, doctor, team doctor, conditioning coach, head coach, teammates and family have to say than my sponsor...

First i'd like to say im a huge redskin fan. I was a boy the last time we won the superbowl. I havent missed a game since I was that young. Year after year I have had to watch in disappointment. Finally we have found something special in rg3. If he rushes back it could lead to a major catastrophe. As a skins fan I want Robert back when Roberts ready to come back. IMO he was playing the hole time with a partial tear in the ACL. I do think shanny botched the injury situation also. I guess my point is shanny can't afford to botch it this time. As far as cousins goes I can plainly see he can play in the nfl but wonder how successful he can be right now in his career. Not a knock on him just know he'll have a lot to see & learn.
