View Full Version : Anyone looking forward to UD black and its 200.00 price tag

Looks like it will be out next week. Triple threads football got pushed back. So i will have to do 1-2 blacks.

Just have no idea how the value will be close to the msrp?

Basketball has mj bron and kobe . Pulling manning ap montana marino etc... will not cover it.

Rookie value is better in NFL than NBA so the rookie might help.

Thoughts?

I'm avoiding it like the H1N1 virus. $200 for a box of $25 cards.. no thanks.

I did five boxes of UD Black Basketball and got KILLED. Never again. I will be buying a ton of singles for sure.

In fact, after even touching a box of UD Black I used a little Purell to get the germie-germs off me hands!

Nah, there will no doubt be some killer pulls, but I think to be on the safe side you've got to buy at least a case.

yeah i dont see how anyone can buy this as a box but picking up singles on the secondary market may be hard

I for one initially planned on getting more, but financially I no longer can, so one box will have to do. I personally expect to get killed on this, nothing like handing UD a free $200 :)

I won't be buying any. $200+ for a few cards is too expensive for me.

The look of the cards is amazing and there are some nice pulls, but being like Topps Triple Threads but even more expensive, I don't think your return on investment will be good. I would just buy the singles you want online. Also I wouldn't wait for this product to go down in price, because with the limited quantity I see this product holding it's box price. I hope I am wrong and there are several valuable cuts autos that you get 1 per case and that the dual and quad autos are prevalent, because these cards look better than any card I have ever seen.
