Wake up after sleeping in on a day off, rub the sleep from my eyes and remember it's delivery day for my Turkey Red. Might as well have been 6 months from now since being on the West Coast you miss the first wave of breaks and Ebay postings. Anyway, get to the door and sure enough a little box is on my doorstep.
I fire up my crappy laptop and because it takes forever I'm sitting there staring at my boxes. I want to wait and price boxes on Ebay before I bust to see if they are worth flipping sealed. Minute goes by, can't resist I open one. Nothing good, one of the most common autos in the product. Okay I'm done I say. Computer finally fires up, internet is crapping out. Awesome, hit restart. Sitting there staring at two boxes, open another. Great more of the same, one of the other most common autos in the product. Computer is finally on, see I could probably almost double my money on each box based on the price I bought them at. Look over at my new $2-$3 autos and make a mental note to stop being a sucker. Seconds later, I say screw it and open the last one. I hold out hope there's one decent auto in the bunch but predict I'll get that Diamond guy since he's the only super common auto I still need. And what do I get? The trifecta, the third most common auto in the bunch Mr. Diamond.
So anyway, that was fun. Can't complain considering it was a glorified retail break at $20 a box. Anyway all is FT/FS, would be nice to get a Padres auto from Turkey Red if trading or a Chrome prospect auto, but mostly just want this gone.
