Going to my first card show on Saturday. Any valuable nuggets of information I should know beforehand?

Negotiate, most dealers have the card marked up but have room to work with you. Also, I suggest walking the floor once unless there's an amazing deal. Many times I've bought a card or box and then walk a few rows over and its sitting there for cheaper.

This is great advice! I would recommend that you do your homework on card prices before hand, have an idea of what a certain card/player auto would go for and also know the prices of your cards! :)!

Cash is king. Bring a small bag of your own card supplies (penny sleeves, regular and thick top loaders, team bags, etc.). And maybe a small notebook to take notes or take down someone's info. You might not buy anything that very second, but you never know about making a card connection that could get you that card you wanted a few days later. Have fun.
