I hear he isn't even close to a return this season. If this is true, that just stinks. I'm all for him staying healthy n protecting himself against future injury, but whats the deal?

He was all set to come back a couple weeks ago. Then all of sudden rumors came out about another injury or tweaking the knee again.
He had some kind of set back. Bulls are trying to keep it quiet.
Would be nice to see him back a few games before playoffs start.

False. That's just your speculation. His only "setback" is that he's not ready mentally yet. It doesn't feel all the way right to him yet for him to be what he was when he left. He doesn't want to come back as a lesser version of himself. And I don't blame him. There's no doubt he could play right now and do better than most, but not as good as HE can be. When ever he feels like he's at that point is when he'll be back.

I like when people post stuff on here like its the truth when there's zero evidence behind it. Never has been a set date for his return. All the talk about him returning has all been speculation by the press and fans. When the bulls or the doctors or rose himself start talking about a date, then we can get our hopes up. And a guy who has a setback isn't going to be doing 5 on 5 drills and running around dunking .

I don't know about any rumors nor do I read too much into them, it's probably better he doesn't come back at all this season, because with an injury like his it take time, there's 2 parts to this type of injury, the medical side - making the knee strong again etc etc, but the biggest part of this injury is the mental side, trusting his knee again, allowing his body to make the movements it needs to be at 100%. In my opinion a full off season of training and rehab would do him much better then coming back too soon.
