I go to Valley Sports as well. If you go just make sure you go to store that is a couple doors in. Not the one on the corner. The used to be together but now separate.

I live further away and go to 8ball in Torrance. I'd call ahead though and see what they had available. With traffic, that is a 30-60 minute drive. Ugh.

also definitely check out south bay sports cards on PCH right off the 110 in lomita, great browsing even if you dont pick up anything. i also like Hall of Fame Baseball cards in arcadia. they give you a free low-end topps pack if you check in on facebook.

Check out "Card Connection" in Newhall. About 20-30 mins from LA. I've pulled many great cards there.

Just to let everyone know, we visited Beverley card shop and it was awesome. The two gentlemen there were so helpful and nice. We also bought 2 boxes, a 2010 bowman platinum and a 2011 finest, and pulled a USA 3 auto super fractor and a purple 5/5 adrian Gonzalez auto.

I lived in LA for a long time. The only shop worth going to is the Baseball Card Company in Chatsworth.
The guys are great. Everything else you are wasting your time. Trust me.

YES YES, Visit the Wax Czar. It’s 2 doors down and much better. Rich is a good guy and knows his product. The guy that runs Valley Sports Cards is an idiot and knows nothing other than framing memorabilia and being rude.

I like sbaycards (South Bay Baseball Cards) in Lomita. Great family feel and they host Beckett grading and auto signings. (Blake Griffin, AJ Ellis were there last year... Yasiel Puig will be there on 3/30 with Hanley possibly coming soon)
