Brennan Boesch is my #1 PC, but not sure if I want to stick with him now that he is not a Tiger.

I guess for selling the cards NY is as good as it gets. Is now the best time to sell?

Thanks for any advice,

Brian

I sold my Pineda stuff within a week of being traded to the Yankees. His stuff was selling for 2x what it was selling for before and 3x for what it's selling for now.

Mehhh he won't really be a playmaker like Pineda though or at least how people thought Pineda would be before he got hurt and never threw a game for us. lol

I don't see a huge increase in his prices just because he's now a Yankee. Any cards of him in a yankee uniform which is what yankees collectors will want won't be until next year maybe Topps Chrome or Bowman Chrome later this year if he sticks around that long which he won't because Grandy will be back in May.

well were you collecting him because you liked him as a player or merely because he played for the Tigers?

I wouldn't sell now. If he actually gets off to a hot start (which is possible) then I'd sell. If he doesn't have a quick start though, when Granderson comes back from the DL, he'll probably be sent to AAA.

Granted, I'm not sure how many more times his cards can spike in price before falling again.

Wait for him to get a "big hit," and dump.

Maybe the .286 OBP or -1.4 WAR he had in 2012. I personally hink he'll be fine, but there's no guarentee he's awared an MLB job to start the year, or stay in the majors the entire year.

I'm talking about Boesch being sent to Triple-A most likely after Granderson comes off the DL....

Boesch is no guarantee to make any team's 25 Man Regular Season roster. He fell off incredibly last year and has had a rough spring.
