Are you the seller or something? Why do you care so much lol. Buyer should be more than capable of doing his homework and studying the pictures.

well, the way ebay is nowadays, chances are pretty good that the buyer will file a SNAD claim even if the description was accurate!

Because the seller is a tool and lying about the card for sale. That's why you should report the item

no, I just hate seeing people get scammed.....I consider most of the guys on this forum a friend, If it would be one of them that bid on this I would want them to know that they bid on something that wasn't what the seller said it was!!

I think its honorable that you're trying to help someone from getting ripped off. Its nearly impossible to stop it without harassing the seller and that usually doesn't work.

Seems like sellers who like to rip people off like to reply to these types of posts. They'll band together trying to get top dollar for their stuff at all costs. Ultimately its a problem with the hobby. With Stocks, you have the SEC policing the market. We don't have such an entity in this hobby. Thats why you see trimmed cards/fake patches/etc...

I'm with you though and I'll do what I can to inform people of facts but in this case you'll have to let it go, not much you can do. We all get ripped off from time to time and hopefully we'll all learn for it.

Also, sometimes its the buyer who's ripping off the seller. Seems that people are also receiving the cards and reporting to ebay that the cards aren't as described thus getting the refund and keeping the card.

All I have to say for this is:
"Be the change you wish to see in the world" -paraphrased Gandhi quote

Shouldn't blame the seller.
Blame the buyer for being an idiot for not doing any homework on what they are bidding on.

And sometimes the seller doesn't know what they are selling could be possible

I don't have to worry about this cause I don't sell on feebay

Why blame the buyer when the seller is lying about the card he has for sale? It the POS seller trying to scam somebody.

That's your opinion _______

You just said "blame the buyer for being an idiot and not knowing what they are buying". Then you said "well maybe the seller doesn't know what he has". Uhhh for real? So the buyer needs to research but not the seller? okkkkkkk

Yes that is my opinion, no need for childish name calling please.

Wasn't name calling:p
Sometimes the sellers puts stuff up without any research but the buyer should know better what they are buying. I take my time to do some research before I buy

Actually the opposite is true.... The buyer doesn't have to research ebay has their back. While the seller should or have to deal with the headache.

but the seller is more then likely a tool trying to deceive a unknowing buyer.
