i sold this for $140 on ebay and its been 2 months and the seller hasnt received the card. i sent with DC but he says nothing shows up. the card is now missing and if anyone can find it on ebay or here i will give you some paypal for helping me track it down. im really sad and angered about this cause this has never happened and it pisses me off that some jack@$$ probably has my card in his hands laughing at it. please help and tip me if you find it! its numbered 24/25.

If you used paypal shipping you should be able to look back that far and find the DC #

Well it's not 100% confirmed its his fault yet. I'm giving him a chance to respond first and if its true he was scamming I will call him out.

Next time, if you sell anything over $50-$100 - use signature confirmation with insurance. It's really a no brainer these days.

Unfortunately.....I have never received items that said delivered on more than one occasion. And, selling, I have been screwed as well. Bottom line, CYA at all times with anything of value.

Anyway, you should win if you provide the DC#. IF ebay rules in the buyer's favorite, you have to call them and tell them you did everything to be covered under seller protection.

nope, doesn't matter. I had a high end item that had DC, was also insured by me and showed delivered. Person was a know scammer of saying he either didn't receive a package or that the package arrived empty and still Ebay sides with the buyer and I'm out the cards and $290

but there is also a possibility that it could have been delivered to the wrong address in that town too

I think your biggest problem is that you didn't put the tracking number in the paypal transaction once you shipped it. Entering it now after he files a case seems very suspect, and there is no name associated with the tracking number since you didn't use signature confirmation. For all paypal/ebay knows, that could be a tracking number for anything to anyone in that city.

Just my honest observation, but good luck.

DC just shows the mail was delivered to your mailbox. Maybe it was stolen out of his, though highly unlikely. I am curious who is responsible if someone steals a piece of mail out of your mailbox, assuming the thief isn't caught, the seller, buyer, or USPS/UPS/ETC?

With the sequestration and cuts going on at the PO, you can bet that there will be many more "sticky fingers" stealing cards and other items they see to be worth money.
