That's great news. The ESPN crawl and article neglected him. I knew he was a finalist. Tim Hardaway was also a finalist but I never considered him a HOF player, though if Cheeks gets in he is every bit as qualified.

Neither Haywood or King belong in the Hall of Fame.

Neither did Mullin or Dumars, for that matter.

The NBA Hall of Fame has pretty much lost all credibility as an institution over the last 10 years. Really just a "Hall of Very Good" now.

Payton was an All-Star NINE times - very deserving. (Best defensive PG in history)

King was an All-Star FOUR times - not so much to me

King was hurt and still played well, but had it not been for the injury, he would easily be HOF material IMO. Great player, great talent, but sub-HOF career.
