Kmart has a 2012 bowman blaster for 21 and tax. It is not reduced but of course I am thinking of getting it. I don't think it's worth it. Do you guys think I should get it or leave? Lol

I'd buy it. JBJ, Xander, Taveras and gang. You'd have a good chance of getting atleast some sellable base cards.

I had the same dilemma at my K-mart, thankfully my mom works there so I used her employee discount to get it, but I pulled a Jedd Gyorko blue auto /500 and an Oscar Taveras base

I'd leave it. I don't think you can pull chrome autos and the paper autos kinda suck. I pulled a JoFer and still lost money. Unless you get a Harper auto or a color paper auto, you lose.

I walked in, went to the card isle, picked up the blaster, and put it back down. I have had horrible luck lateley, do I didn't want my best card to be a orange /250 of some scrub. Thanks for the help and if anyone wants it, it's in the Kmart at Lancaster pa

If you don't know what you're buying, don't buy it.

My vote:

If you need to ask about buying a blaster, you are probably in the wrong hobby.

You have a lot more restraint than I do.....If I even think about buying a certain blaster, much less pick it up, it's over.
lol
There's no way I can put it back - I'd need to know what's in there.

Any time you open cards there's likely to be sunk cost. So figure if the $20 is worth the entertainment or not.
Though I will say if you are going to buy retail - Bowman is as good a product as any. It can be a fun break - and you do have the shot at prospects, parallels and other stuff that is potentially sellable/tradeable.

$20 can go a long way, much longer than a crappy blaster can. If you have that bad of an itch, pick up a rack pack or even a blister pack.

$20 can get you a very nice auto-relic card of your PC player or 20+ TTM autos.

You are very right sir. I bought 3 jumbo packs of 2012 draft the other day, best card was a shaffer ref lol, didn't feel like wasting more. I will just go crazy for 2013 bowman
