Sorry if this has been beaten into the ground. Today my LCS got in a perfect on card auto of the 1984 Wilson Chrome auto. No sticker, on card? My regular gold /10 auto is still pending. Is it or is it not going to be a fugly sticker? I pulled it and redeemed it so not that guy who spent $1200 but would love for it to remain worth $1200? I am inclined to hope Topps is doing the right thing here and at least making the /50 or better on cards or am I just naive since I have had nothing but crap luck with Topps?
If you feel need to say do a search dummy, or this has been answered a million times have at it...
Better yet...this is the baseball section...feel free to hit me with both barrels...

Those are only ones going on card, mostly because the sticker doesn't fit on that small card
All other chrome autos are stickers.

Oh my bad I thought you were talking about the mini, which I just realized is a 1965. Oops.
I think the insert sets were advertised as On Card autos, which they probably followed. The base autos overall I think were mentioned as "mostly on card". So they probably used that to get around it. I would assume they determined putting stickers on the cards would be easier rather than tell people it will be months longer to wait for on card. Catch 22 for them.
