Seems that the Museum collection breaks have been a little hard to fill, maybe because of pricing or just all the similar breaks. Gonna try something a little different. 12-Box Case - Random Card! No risk, as everyone will get a card, with a very affordable slot price! :flex:

Configuration: 12 boxes per case. 4 packs per box. 5 cards per pack.
A 12 Box case will produce 240 total Cards.
240 Card Breakdown:
12 Autographs
12 Autographed Relics
12 Jumbo Relics
12 Quad Relics
48 Parallels #'d as low as 1/1
144 Base Cards
Inserts Cards will replace either a base or parallel (canvas collection inserts)

Once all 240 spots are filled, a moderator will random the list 3 times and that will be the order in which you are assigned your card(s).

When we open the boxes, labeled 1-12, each pack will be opened, left to right, top to bottom in each box. 1st card will go to slot 1, 2nd card to slot 2, etc until we are finished. All packs will be opened live on camera, every card will be shown in order they come out of the pack to ensure validity.

Summary: For $11.50-$13.50 you are either going to get anything from a base card to a bat barrel :)! NO RISK as you will get a card but you could get a monster and you won't know until the break happens because it is random card :eek: I love these types of breaks personally.

$9.38 + $3.00 (supplies & shipping 1st slot) = $12.38 x 1.029 +.30 = $13.04

Additional Slots:
$9.38 + $1.25 = $10.63 x 1.029 +.30 = $11.23
Supplies include printer ink, bubble envelopes, penny sleeves, team bags, top loaders, over sized top loaders and magnetics for mojo hits. All packages over $150 in value also receive complimentary insurance by the host.

Canadian participants, please be aware that shipping starts around $4.50 for a package, so the 1st slot will be $15.50, each additional slot will stay the same.

Additional rules:
-Host reserves the right to participate in this break.
-Break will be conducted live on UStream (subject to change of provider) and notice will be given approximately 24 hours in advance of the break time.
-Video will be saved same day and recap video provided.
-Scans will be posted within 24 hours of the break.
-No additional shipping charges will be requested of members of this break. All insurance will be provided by host.
-Randoms will be conducted by moderators of blowout.
-Any additional cards over 240 provided in boxes will be randomed among all participants in the break. If we are shorted any cards less than 240, the host will provide personal cards to fill those spots.
-No outside participants are allowed to buy into the break unless approved by the host.

I would say yes, that would make the most sense. If there are more cards than slots we will random the extra cards among every spot in the break.

Yes, this break will go a little slower just due to the fact that every card goes to a different person and they have to stay in order. I'll go pack by pack in order they come out and then they'll go back into the packs in the same order and the pack will be labeled ex: "Cards 34-38". It will also be easy for me to go back and check certain cards for people.

5-card packs, I would assume it would be a base, base, parallel, hit, base configuration, but really you never know. Someone mentioned something about box toppers, but I'm actually not sure if there are any. Also any type of over-sized card may take the place of base, so we'll see how it plays out. If worse comes to worse and we come up 2-3 cards short, I'll order a pack and random it among those individuals at the end who gets what card.

We'll work it out :)!

I'll have a system figured out before the break takes place, but I want to avoid any type of residue or anything on the cards and post it notes don't exactly have the best adhesive. All I need are for post-its to fall off the cards and then I have to watch the whole video to find out where cards go lol.

It counts as the next card. This is a random card break. If we open the box and there is a boxloader it is the 1st card in that box and will go to whoever is next in line. I believe I addressed this a week ago or so.

Trading is fine for this break, but I encourage people to be aware that just be you buy a slot that should like up with the 3rd or 4th slot in a box (which is where the hit would typically be) it doesn't guarantee that is a hit slot and toppers could throw that off. Lets also keep in mind that Topps "guarantees" 5 cards per pack, but I take their guarantees with a grain of salt.

And over the main forums, someone posted that the pack order is :

Base, base, base, hit, parallel, with the possibility of the canvas cards have 6 cards in a pack. If that's the case, then the card order that people have mentioned earlier would be thrown off. :eek: At least I get a parallel for $25!! haha

Yes. But from what I've seen in the breaks on youtube, the box toppers are super rare. The rest of the toppers are redemptions in packs.

Yes, but ONLY if there is an actual topper in the box. From what I've seen, most toppers have been in redemption form in the packs.

I contacted a member here who pulled some of the jumbo tags and he said there were only 2 cards in each pack :eek:

Just FYI I don't believe that information is accurate. I called in today to have it held for pickup but I believe it is still due in on Friday. Shipments don't go from IL to Napa with nothing in between in one day unfortunately.

I've been in 4 case breaks so far and only 1 of the 4 didn't have a box topper in one of the cases. If there is a box topper it is card 4 and there are six cards in the pack. Which mean all the #5 spots would become hits after that.
