Saw this on espn just now where Durant got fined $25,000 for making a throat cutting gesturing followed by a praying gesture.
He said it means "Kill them and pray for them after the game"
So many questions for you guys.
A) Is this an actual known gesture that people do, or was this something he made up?
B) Where the heck did this come from with him? I know he's got a ton of tattoos and isn't as clean-cut as people think, but is this type of thing his true character or is it him trying to act more tough to shed his good-guy image?
C) Regardless of any of the above, is it just me, or is that an incredibly lame celebration?
Bah, forgot the link

Durant has recently been trying to add a 'mean streak' to his game.
Although I think his game could have gotten tougher and that was somewhat of a fair critique I actually think he has been going about it the wrong way this year to prove his new toughness.

Yeah, part of me feels that this seems kind of forced by him.
I like Durant too, so no knock on him, just don't watch a ton of Thunder and this seemed very random by him

Maybe Durant wants to be the Undertaker? lol j/k
A) It might be just me, but I've never seen others doing such gesture.
B) Refer to the corny joke above. Haha~ :p
C) Having answered A) and B) though, I personally don't think that it's really a big deal, unless such gesture contains some other bad meanings (e.g. curses) that I don't know.

Who cares what he does? As long as he doesn't elbow someone when celebrating, it doesn't matter to me.

lol Durant can't be mean when he's pretty much the nicest superstar in the NBA and has been since he came into the league.

Maybe somewhat out of perceived character, but don't think it's a big deal... I've seen way worse not fined, so that's a ???

He's trying to be Westbrook lol
True, but KD actually has to try and be a d-bag. It just comes naturally to Westbrook.
