My Dad's Tom Seaver PC

[Homerun]

Hey guys. I thought it was about time to show off my dad's PC. Seaver has been his favorite player since the early 70's in New York. All his friends were Yankees fans, but he didn't like the Yankees so he was a Mets fan. We're getting a 350 card lot of Seaver in soon, so we'll post scans of the notables. He really likes collecting, so that's probably where my collecting instinct came from. :D Thanks for the read.

Yup, he really likes base cards. In fact, he prefers them over autos/relics. I guess back in his day base cards were the only things around.

He had most of the vintage from when he was a kid, but I've picked up most of the inserts and a few of the graded ones now. Do you have a scan of the autos? Those sound really nice.

Nice cards. I have a small collection of Seaver mostly in Mets uniform. I have a mix of vintage and modern inserts like your dad too. I like the 72 IAs, very nice cards. I also like the 1974 cards for the horizontal action shots (Seaver and Matlack are similar shots). If you are looking for a cheap/cool vintage card and don't already have it I suggest that one.
