A-Jax to the DL so Garcia has been called up and should start pretty much everyday while he's out.

dirks is a pretty good player, with that said garcia is just better and i feel will help this team win more games, hes been tearing it up in triple A.

I agree, that outfield would be full of cannon arms and 3 pretty fast players

If you're going to play Kelly (cant hit worth a damn) in center, why not bring up Berry who equally can't hit but is a better fielder, better arm, and better on the base paths

I just want Berry back on the team, I'm a big fan of his, just loved the energy he brought to the team last year (although I guess Hunter kinda brings some of that now this year)

They want him to play center and are giving him a few days to get used to shagging fly balls in practice at Comerica.

My guess is with a day game tomorrow they didn't want him to go back to back like that and he'll start tomorrow and be the CFer moving forward until AJax is back

You've got Garcia, one of the top 100 prospects in baseball who hit like crazy last year down the stretch (small sample size) or a guy who has proven he's nothing more than a utility man who doesn't hit much with Kelly. Why on earth wouldn't you give Garcia every chance in the world to play???

Leyland makes so many moves that make no sense at all, it's really tough to be a Tigers fan sometimes. They should be running away with the division, and yet again, they're underperforming and letting other teams hang around. Go get us a manager that can get more out of these guys. This team on paper should have the best record in baseball, especially playing in the weak AL Central.

Ne needs everyday ABs to continue to develop, that's why he was in Toledo. It completely defeats the purpose if you call him up and then don't start him in favor of Don freaking Kelly.

If Don Kelly wasn't on the Tigers Roster he would be playing single a ball. I think Leyland feels bad for him. Why has no one made mention of how horribly pathetic Santiago is? I think Kelly is 10x the player Santiago is. Santiago should be playing tee ball.
