I asked you because it's a crappy cell phone pic. You said yes it is, $300, I said how about $275. Then silence....... and you sell it out from under my nose.
In my book that is the middle of a negotiation.

A simple offer / counter offer is how most sales work. I sent you a price without even knowing about any other reds and I sent it to you immediately following your text.
Do what you want, my reputation speaks for itself as far as "low-balling."

no one said you were low balling. im just saying a price of 300 was great. you asked what i wanted i told ya. you went less, i posted it on here for my price.

Smooth moves bud, smooth moves. Continue working deals like that and I'm sure your negative count will continue to rise.

Thats what you get for low balling to try and save yourself a few bucks, stop being a tight ass and you could have the card.

So complaining is a reason for a negative these days? That negative seems real legit doesn't it?
Sorry I don't sit on this site all day. Someone sent me an offer, I responded 20 minutes later at first chance, and he sold it to someone else and then negged me.
Makes sense. Carry on.

I don't see what your deal is? That's what you get for trying to negotiate an already good price. No deal was completed, you're just upset you didn't get the card. Don't throw someone under the bus for no reason.

"Don't hate the player, hate the game" is some good advice for DBott right now. You got scooped by someone willing to pay full price. Should be no hard feelings, move on to the next.

I agree with Dbott here. If they were talking prices. OP should have said hey I got a offer for $300 match it and its yours. If Dbott was in discussions first he should have been able to match the offer. JMHO.

IMHO the potential buyer is owed nothing of the sort.
I would never expect a seller to do this for me as a buyer.
There could be 20 different people negotiating or talking to the op.
Should the op write to all of them ?
and then when however many agree
say ok now its a "highest and best" and play them off each other ?
no.
think of it as ebay

I disagree. DBott already had the oppurtunity to buy it originally for $300, he chose to counter offer. IMHO the first person to agree to the ORGINAL ASKING price gets it. If you are countering you are basically saying you are not willing to pay asking price, you want it for less. As a seller, the first person willing to meet my price gets it and all other offers drop off (unless there was an agreement already in place, which, in this case, there was not).

In my book that is the middle of a negotiation.
Offer-counteroffer always involves the risk that the seller or buyer will walk away. Neither party is obligated to counter. You took that risk, you lost when the seller walked away. The other side was that you would have gotten the card for under $300.
Not worth getting all worked up about.

I agree with the statement I bolded regardless of who the seller/buyers are/were. Truth be told he PM'd me about it as well and I asked for a price. If he would've offered it to me for $300 it would've been mine. He decided to post before PM'ing me back a price and beacuse Chapmans bought it I never got a price. I'm not going to cry about it as I still have $300 to go find something else. No card is worth crying over but then again it's not for my PC or anything. I would've just flipped it to gunshowboy/chapmans/whoever for $350, lol.

OP did nothing wrong. The potential buyer's reaction is reminiscent of an early non-transaction involving one of Florida's finest.

This is a ridiculous turn of events. Bunch of whiny female dogs I tell ya. Price asked was $300 which was a very good deal. Messing around with even lower offers was strategic but it didn't work. With a good card and a good price he was probably fielding multiple offers. First one to meet his price wins. Perfectly fine and nothing wrong with it. If he had offered it to someone for $275, then got a higher offer and backed out of the $275 deal than different story. OP you did good although you sold it too cheap at $300 IMO. This should help towards your project.:)! Don't let the cry babies bring you down.
