Wells is playing pretty well. I think he has like 9 or 10 home runs already?

They have been winning all year with one of the worst line ups I have ever seen a MLB team trot out. Somehow they have been getting production from Vernon wells and Hafner.

Last year everyone was wondering the same thing when the Yankees got incredible production from Raul Ibanez and pretty good production from Andrew Jones and Ichiro Suzuki.

Therefore there is only one logical explanation. When you become a member of the Yankees when you're almost on your way out of baseball, you become a better baseball player (don't worry Halladay, there's still hope for you as long as you join the Yankees).
I should get a Nobel Prize for this discovery.

The answer for how they won today lies in Nick Hagadone. Haven't watched enough of them otherwise to tell you about the rest of their season.

I'll admit, I thought the Yankees had no chance in hell with this lineup but some how the Yanks always find ways to win. Damnit
