I was watching and nothing seemed apparent. My very untrained opinion is that this isn't serious and if I had to bet, I'd bet he makes his next start.

joking aside looks like he's headed to the DL unless he's a quick healer but the fact that this came on out of the blue and there were no indications before that last pitch anything was wrong it doesn't sound good.

Chris Archer and Jake Odorizzi are being tossed around as possible replacements.

All I have heard about this is, he is having vision problem due to allergies. He will be fine.

per rotoworld

David Price left Wednesday's start against the Red Sox in the third inning with left triceps tightness.

Not good. The Rays will provide an update on Price's status after the game, and he'll likely need a trip to the disabled list. The left-hander was charged with four runs on five hits and a walk over 2 1/3 frames before exiting. Chris Archer and Jake Odorizzi would be options to replace him in the rotation.

archer definitely over orodozzi

Archer at Durham this season: 4-2, 3.97 ERA, 34 IP

Odorizzi at Durham this season: 4-0, 2.97 ERA, 39.1 IP

Odorizzi over Archer...

(Also Odorizzi threw 7IP of a combined No-No recently)

Sold an Odorizzi red /5 autograph for $300, couple days later someone hit a BIN on one for $400 (guessing they're afraid another won't be listed). Mine was certainly gradeable IMO, and if Odorizzi is called up seems the guy could make a pretty nice return on a flip.

Kind of sad about that, but as a poor dude, couldn't take a risk of holding a card that's non-PC like that after hitting it in a hobby box.

Don't forget how much the Rays like sabermetrics:

Odorizzi FIP: 3.51 (.253 BABIP against)
Archer FIP: 3.46 (.347 BABIP against)

Archer's walking a few too many, but I think it's a toss-up who gets the call.
